Mobile Internet and desktop computer collide!

As expected, in this era of technology with ever evolving high tech at our fingertips, Mobile internet usage has outdistanced desktop in total internet usage in the US as the most used digital platform. It was reported by comScore, a global leading company in digital media analytics that the access to the internet by the use of a smartphone rose by nearly 400% and no doubt, the use of tablet ascended by 1,721% during the same period.

The diagram above depicts the increase of smartphone, table and desktop usage.

Most surprisingly, the fastest growing consumer segment for mobile is not youngsters as you may think but those over the age of 55.

But more importantly, this increase in mobile usage with have a huge impact on websites and blogging. You might be asking yourself why?
